Barcelona, Spain July 2024
My first photo tour took me to vibrant Barcelona, the perfect start to my international photography journey. On a sunny day in Cardedeu, I collaborated with equine photographer Núria to capture stunning shots of her and her horse.
The real highlight came when we filmed video. Still new to videography, I struggled with my camera settings until Núria shared invaluable tips that transformed my footage—a game-changer!
That afternoon was all about learning, creativity, and connection. This unforgettable experience in Barcelona will always hold a special place in my heart.
Oberdonven, Luxembourg August 2024
On a recent photo tour in Luxembourg, I gained more than just beautiful images—I left with meaningful connections and a deeper appreciation for the impact of photography.
One moment that stands out to me is meeting Chopin, a remarkable 32-year-old horse battling declining health and a high fever. Despite this, he carried himself with grace, and I was honored to capture his spirit in our photoshoot.
A week after I returned home, I received the heartbreaking news of his passing. This reminded me that photography isn’t just about images—it’s about preserving memories. Those photos became a cherished memory for his owner, and I’m grateful to have documented his legacy.
Algarve, Portugal September 2024
This tour was truly one of the most magical experiences I’ve had so far, with breathtaking locations that ranged from beautiful beaches to stunning landscapes.
The first stop was Porches, an absolutely jaw-dropping place where horses are ridden along the edge of towering cliffs. overlooking the endless ocean. Watching them move so gracefully against such a stunning backdrop was an unforgettable sight.
The result? Some of the most epic, unforgettable shots I’ve ever captured!
Bacolod, Philipines November 2024
You might be wondering—how on earth did I find this incredible man? Well, I was driving through the breathtaking mountains of Negros, scanning the landscape for horses, donkeys, or any animals that might catch my eye.
Then, out of nowhere, I spotted him—a true Filipino cowboy, sitting tall on his horse, completely at home in the rugged beauty of the mountains. I could hardly believe my luck!
Without hesitation, I pulled over, approached him, and asked if I could take some photos. To my delight, he smiled and said yes, his excitement mirroring my own.
The moment felt like something out of a story—unexpected, authentic, and full of character. I’m beyond grateful to have captured this scene, a fleeting yet unforgettable glimpse into a way of life that few get to see.
Lisboa, Portugal December 2024
For my second photo-tour to Portugal, I had the chance to visit a circus full of vibrant energy and unforgettable moments. One performance that stood out was a stunning horse act, where a man, flawlessly in tune with his horses, moved with incredible grace and precision around the ring.
The connection between them was captivating, and I couldn’t resist capturing the moment. As he guided his horse through the routine, I snapped the shot, preserving a beautiful display of skill, trust, and harmony.
This photo remains one of my favorites from the trip, a powerful reminder of the bond between humans and animals, especially in such a magical and dynamic setting.
